She has taught classes in the Troy area since certified in 1997, and received a second certification in 1999 as a 200-hr. level Yoga Alliance Integrative Yoga Therapy instructor. Students are encouraged to move at their own pace and ability, without any competition. These slower-paced classes are mindfull and include breath awareness and pranayama; gentle movement and poses; stress management and relaxation; restorative postures; meditation; and Yoga Nidra (which she holds certification.)
