John has been practicing yoga and meditation for about 15 years and teaching for about 8 years, and is a graduate from the International Sivananda Yoga Vedanta Center, advanced studies program, founded by Swami Vishnudevananda and certified by the worldwide Yoga Alliance for the 500 hours standard for Registered Yoga Schools (RYS).
